Software Glitch Causes State Medical Board to Extend Renewal Deadline
Published: Feb 08, 2018 by Brandon SmithDue to a software glitch, the State Medical Board of Ohio has extended the renewal deadline to February 14, 2018 and waived the late fee for affected allied health professionals. This extension applies to those license renewals for Physician Assistants, Anesthesiologist Assistants, Radiologist Assistants, Genetic Counselors, Oriental Medical Practitioners, and Acupuncturists that were due by January 31.
The deadline to renew supervision agreements also has been extended to February 15, 2018.
The Board has posted instructions on its website for renewing and receiving the late fee waiver.
